If Bungie announces an official Marathon ARG, follow the official announcement channels first. For server-side events and downtime, use the live status page.

Marathon factions

Marathon factions are organizations you take contracts from during a season. Your faction progress can reset with seasons (along with gear and contracts), while cosmetics and some account progress carry over.

Season timing and reset details are tracked on the Marathon roadmap.
